Biological description
Na+ / K+ ATPase α subunit inhibitor (IC50 = 2.69 µM) which increases regulator of G protein signaling 2 (RGS2) protein levels (EC50 = 83 nM). Exhibits little or no effect on RGS4. Also potent HIV-1 replication inhibitor and exhibits anti-MERS-CoV activity in Vero cells in vitro.
